Can anybody help me find this W2 Econo Head Casting Number. I searched in vain, but haven't found any information other than this might have been the first casting of this type of head. If so has anybody used Hydraulic lifters, I was told the angle is to severe. Any info would be great. And is the bolt pattern of the Econo the same as the Normal W2's?

Type of lifter shouldn't be an issue at all ever. MoPars S/B cam/lifter/pushrod set up has been described by some as looking like a porcupine with a bad hair day since the rods seem to look like that.

The attempt to correct this is done with the newer blocks having the angle changed and useing UGL cams.

The only difference in W-2 heads, econo vs. race is the race heads do not have the pedastels caast into the head for the rocker arms shaft bar. You'd need to set it up yourself with blocks.

There is absoultely NO performance difference between the head.

Who ever told you that angle for Hyd lifters and pushrods is to wild, well, run, far away and fast...unless I'm missing something.
