Dougs installation problems on '74 Duster

It's actually about $150 (430 uncoated vs. 580 coated). Obviously I did. I left the bubble wrap on them when I installed them to minimize the scratching, but I did end up with a couple. They were a lot easier to get in then it was to get the old ones out.

Just a heads up --- I picked up a set of Dougs 453s (coated) on ebay from Massive Speed Systems for about $565 shipped. Saved $35 or so over summit and others.

The headers shipped from CA (even though the guy said they were in stsock in IL) but they arrived last night and are installed on my fish.

Saving $$ is good. :cheers:

If I would do it again, i wouldrun masking /electrical tape acorss the fronts of the tubes....even though I was being VERY careful, I managed to get a couple of scratches....:thumbdow:

But they look great....will hear them for the first time this evening!
