1970 Challenger R/T S/E 426 Hemi
Went to look at a very rare car tonight 15 minutes from my house. All original 1970 Challenger R/T S/E 426 HEMI, Auto console, 3.55 S/G, B5 Blue, consolette, leather faced front buckets, original rally's 46,000 miles. Production is at 60 cars with half 4-speeds & half automatic. The engine & trans were pulled in 99. The engine was torn down inspected & re-assembled utilizing all the original internals sans rod & main bearings. Each cylinder still showing the factory hatch marks prominatley. Looks like I might get to do the restoration on this very solid,very rare Challenger this winter. The 2nd owner was offered $125,000 over 25 years ago! Please excuse the cell phone photo's. Dave
