Battery in trunk cable routing?

I always use a solenoid at the rear of the car for the starter. Keeps that big wire cold except when starting. I also use an S605 continuous duty solenoid to kill the alt charging wire when the cut off is thrown.

Here's how I do mine.



I usually route the wires under the shield along the drivers rocker

Ground wire, hook it to the frame rail at the rear and run an equal size wire to ground the block. No need to go the length of the car. I run fine strand 1/0 for the starter wire and 2 gauge for grounds.
