need engine swap decision help

a late 80s truck 318 would probly be best. high nickel, thick wall block so you can just throw a set of rings an bearings in it, lap the valves, new timing chain and oil pump, new gaskets and paint. it would be really reliable. if you want to get fancy maybe a 340 cam and a cheap 4 barrel setup.

oh and you get #302 heads with that motor!
