340 vs. 360
If you build it to spin,*cough $$$$$ cough* then it'll spin. Theres some short comings to the 360 for strip use. Just remember that the extra stroke brings peak torque and HP a few hundered RPM sooner.
1. Short comings are the longer stroke which would require stiffer springs to attain the same RPM
2. Longer stroke equals faster piston speeds.
3. Larger bearing surface. This is drag.
4. Stock cast crank limits big, and I mean big HP. Not what I would call street strip power, buy hey, what ever spins your tires and makes your gears mesh....
If you have 4.56's now and intend on keeping them, a larger tire may be inorder. Maybe 2 inchs.
