oil pan interchange

When I found the car, it had been sitting in a pasture since '88. The engine was locked up and the dipstick was rusty and the oil was watery goo.
I just drained the pan and got 2 gal of antifreeze out of it. the pick up is rusty, but I can't imagine it's any different than the '68 unit.......anyone care to chime in?
