/6 choke pull off

There are no differences in slant 6 1 and 2bbl exhaust manifolds other than the fact that some have an open choke pocket and others have a closed choke pocket. Neither one matters when it comes to mounting the choke thermostat. Go here http://www.carbsonly.com/carbs/carbschoke.htm and get the 1232 "super choke". Mount the housing with the arm on your choke pocket on the manifold and then mount the little black thermostat on any spot on the motor that'll get hot (but not melting hot) quickly. Then you can adjust the chokes pull off by loosening the screw and turning the housing. That way you can get the choke to pull off when you want it and not just when the motor wants it to pull off.

Your only other plausible choice is finding an original 2bbl choke thermostat that mounts on the choke pocket and pulls the choke off when it gets hot enough. They are more expensive than the electric kit and they aren't adjustable.
