aggressive stance
Every-time I see any post that talks about getting the stance right then mentions worn suspension components...... I laugh.
Priorities are cool....
Mine...... (in it's simplest form)
1. Get it running well. (Not fast, just well... if it will idle smooth in the driveway on it's own for 15 minutes, I call it good) This also includes all lights, blinkers and so on working....
2. Now that it's running I make sure the brakes work WELL!
3. Now that it runs and the brakes are good I can take it for a drive...
4. I'm lazy and many tire shops do a suspension inspection for free.... I get an inspection, replace all needed parts then get an alignment.
Now that I know everything is good..... I worry about stance and/or wheel and tire combo (this can play into stance if running taller tires in the rear, something I never do... all 4 the same is the way I like it)... If i decide to change, ride height, front, rear or whatever.... When I get it to it's final stance I will again go in for a final alignment.
After I know the car is mechanically sound..... I will start looking at cosmetics or power adders.
