Carter 1 barrel carb leak in 64 valiant any ideas??

No, it is pretty much just open.
This was a sixty's invention and they didn't care about wasting gas.
You could try spraying a generous amount of carb medic in that top hole.

IT is a carter carb so you can just take the top of the bowl off without removing the carb.
Just be careful you don't loose any screws
