727 Trans question.

I've seen alot of them that have the drain back problem last a long time but you can't just throw them into gear as soon as you start it up and take right off. Not only will it slip the converter which will toast it and the fluid but you don't get anywhere fast. You have to put it in neutral for about 20 seconds to let the converter fill up and then you can go on your merry way. Doing that will greatly lengthen the life of the trans.
