'74 Dodge Dart Swinger, first drag car.

Yes but for right now I just want a car to start learning on. I'm 16 btw. I have a 1983 Camaro as my daily driver but have always been into mopar's. For now I just want something I can take to the track and back. Just get everything in working order. I think this is a good deal but no room in the garage. :/ My dad might be selling his '48 DeSoto in a week or so though.
Also I am not going to see anywhere near those horsepower numbers for a while.

That is so cute "have always been into mopars", at 16 how long could that be? Look just kidding, I get excited to hear a young gun continuing the Mopar hobby. At 800.00 I don't see how you can go wrong, plus like you said it is a good car to get your feet wet so to speak in drag racing. Work on staging, cutting a good light and as in bracket racing learning to run on your dial in will only make you a better driver as you start going faster. Go for it!
