lower rad hose spring

Hey guys and gales,just about to install my new lower rad hose and there is no spring in it to keep it from colasping.Could i fab one up with a wire or coat hanger and how much of the hose should this spring go into most,part half way.thanks for the help.:cheers:

Hey Snake, I know it looks like **** but why not go the CTire generic route. My lower hose is still one of those with the wire inside. I changed the upper to a proper molded hose when I got my new rad. BTY Parts Source still had a pt number under 70 Dart. You have to fish it out of the counter staff because most of them are non-smart people (not aloud to say retarded on here anymore):cheers:
