Fair price for 340?

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I sold my '70 complete carb to pan 340 for $400, with about 5000 miles on the rebuild. All it needed was #8 cylinder sleeved, the guy who built it forgot to put a spiral lock in the wrist pin and it chewed up the cylinder wall. So, when I built my stroker, I sold this engine to a local guy so he could put it in his duster, which his young son is very involved in. He was able to reuse the everything and the only machine shop cost he had I believe was to sleeve the one cylinder. After it was all said and done and he had it put back together I think he had a total of $1000 for a very good running 340. This will probably make ya sick but I sold a set of the 340 high performance manifolds, the ones I see on ebay for several hundreds of dollars, for I believe $40. I just cant see ripping off a fellow mopar guy who can use what I have lying around.

Hopefully phisphud, you will find one reasonably priced
