Insert int and exh lifters for that cylinder and set up your dial indicator then rotate engine to the base circle and set indicator .020 compressed travel and zero the gauge, then rotate the engine clockwise to the @.015 reading or checking clearance and note, Continue rotating engine until the closing check point is reached and note, now check the cam card and correct if needed one way or the other by keyway or offsetcam
