Fuel pressure adjustment question

I have an aeromotive regulator\pump and mine goes back to zero when the car is shut off. I also noticed it has some idiling issues, like its running out of fuel. I have it set for 7psi for my 750 DBL pumperand I havve been messin with it all day and just getting more frustrated
