What is a rusty '66 Formula S worth?

Thanks for all of the input.

I talked to the seller on the phone and the car has been in his family his whole life and he's 39, as far as he knows it's all original. He said the frame is sound but the drivers side floor needs to be replaced along with the front seat covers. The headliner has one spot where the stiching is coming undone and he recommended replacing the whole headliner. The car starts and runs but hasn't been on the road in 5 years and at a minimum needs the brakes bled. It is an auto trans with a console. I expect all of the exterior trim to be pitted and worn.

I'm not worried about what he is asking for I just want to make an offer that's fair for both him and I.

And moparsegura I don't think they are ugly but they aren't very attractive either. I always thought they grill looked wrong on the '66 Barracudas, nice looking egg crate grills with a center section with horizontal slats? Seems they ran out of time and money for it.

Well..... I guess I don't really mean ugly, but there just not for me. I actually loved the one I had for a while but the longer I had it and tried to get parts at a reasonable prices the more I hated having it. I have seen some really sweet one's but they had a ton of money in them. I agree, the grill is where Mopar took a shortcut. Either way, good luck with the buy and all that's matters is that your happy with the car and the price.
