Spool good for lower ET?

I would think so also,BUTT if you have a slant six here you get alot less responses or help, doesnt matter that I am a Mopar at heart person, racer, restorer.I just happen to like going fast with a slant.National record is what I am building for, hard to pry info out here that I can apply to my slant sickness.I only have 5 cars faster than me on motor.Looking for answers that apply in general.Guzzi Mark

I could see that if this question was /6 specific but it`s not. Some questions are just more popular because they deal with subjects that are more familiar to the members. There may be a small amount of slippage in your everyday sure-grip so a spool may save you a thousandth or two. If you are looking to squeeze every millisecond out of your car to compete with record holders then that may be the way to go. Spools aren`t street friendly though and if you plan on using the car on the road then that`s also something you`ll have to consider.
