'67 Convertible Barracuda Trunk
When I purchased my '67 Convertible Barracuda last year, the trunk was bare (painted) metal, no liner or spare tire cover. The spare tire bolt was there, but no wing nut. I found a wing nut in a junk yard that works. I purchased a trunk mat from Legendary Interiors, but there was no spare tire cover listed for '67. As I look at the trunk, I see no indentation where a spare tire cover would fit. How did these cars originally come from the factory? I was thinking of getting carpet padding and cutting it to size, but I don't know if that would provide enough support. I don't plan on hauling things around much, so it probably wouldn't matter, I was just wondering what was supposed to be there.
