Fixing my belt routing

ok i though i could swap the alt to the other side of the bracket...nope the bottom bracket(where you can adjust the tension) wont line up then, see pic


so me and my dad continue looking for pullys, i found one but its off a slant six and has 2 pullys on it, i figured maybe we could find a single, well i found one on a van we have, and it looked like it was 'deeper' it all looked good, i pulled off the old pully and tried to fit the 'new' one on. nope its to big around :cwm10: dangit so now i'm going to put on the double pully on the waterpump

For the lower bracket...you could pull the bolt and pick up a longer one from a hardware store (correct threads). Put a matching sized spacer between the bracket and waterpump. This way it will match up if you moved your ALT forward??
