Fixing my belt routing

ok i though i could swap the alt to the other side of the bracket...nope the bottom bracket(where you can adjust the tension) wont line up then, see pic


so me and my dad continue looking for pullys, i found one but its off a slant six and has 2 pullys on it, i figured maybe we could find a single, well i found one on a van we have, and it looked like it was 'deeper' it all looked good, i pulled off the old pully and tried to fit the 'new' one on. nope its to big around :cwm10: dangit so now i'm going to put on the double pully on the waterpump

Bummer about that! One question for you though...What does your lower bracket look like? I posted some pictures of my FACTORY bracket that hasn't been altered in any way. You can see my lower bracket has a factory bend in it to move the location forward. Can you verify if you do or do not have that?

There are a couple variations of brackets that ive seen before. (my chrome alt is MIA because it had some warranty issues lol)
