Streetmaster 318 vs. Performer for street use
My 1st question:
For street use and off the line performance is it worth switching the Streetmaster 318 (single plane) out for an Edelbrock Performer (dual plane)?
For street use and torque you will be hard pressed to beat the Ede Performer on your 318. I had a Performer with a 600 Ede on a 318 with 340 manifolds, and could roast the tires (peg leg) down the street. Car ran really good with this intake and carb.
