MAJOR PROBLEM.... Spark Plug wire shorting on headers

Ok, I have been trying to track down an idle problem on my 70 Dart and I was working on it tonight and when it was getting dark i noticed the drivers side rear plug wire was shorting out on the headers. This is not a suprise since the plug wire hits the header. Anyway. I am wondering what if any ideas you guys have on fixing this. Obviously I am going to replace the plug wire, but my idea was to replace the wire with a plug wire that has a 90 degree boot on it so that it routes under the header... If i am going to do this, what wires would you recommend. I am acustomed to using Accel 8mm wires, but if I go with the standard replacement wires for this engine ( 318 ) they will have just a straight boot on them. I need this running before saturday morning, so fast help would be great....

a little more info, the Spark Plug wire just barely hits the header at the top of the boot, the header is at the point were the plug wire at the top of the boot and the wire are resting on the header. If i pull tension on the plug wire toward the engine, it will not hit the header.
