Gotta boast a little

Got the following

1966 383 with 727 and 8 3/4 with 48XXX actual miles from a Newport 4dr.
Guy brings the running car over says anything I want out of it he will remove and return to me along with a 400 engine he has sitting in his garage, he has another use for the body.

SO, I also am getting the 14 steelie rims, the radiator, the front window regulators (for my 1929 Ford Tudor thats gonna have a built 225, LOL)

It has a 4bbl and real old gas in it, so I break out the handy dandy sea foam driver her down to the gas station add 5 gallons to the almost empty tank drive it home and let her sit, I start it up every day and let her run about 15 min., the sea foam is doing it's magic, the sputter has gone and it runs like a champ. NOT a bit of smoke at start up or any other time, trans shifts good rear don't clunk, and a little roll on in the street sent the antique tires to smokinnnn.

Seems it was stored and started regular but the time, and the mice did a job on the interior, and it was originally a minnesota car so there is some rust, it actually is restorable................but its headed to the demo derby, without the above listed items.

OH, I got all this for.........you ready, a small block chevy 350 from a 78 truck, th-350, (both needed rebuilt) and a Weiand high rise open plain intake and an old SBC tunnel ram with carbs that need rebuilt.

SO I get my cake and eat it too. 383 and trans to put in the dart, extra rear end to store, and a 400 to build, ................life is good sometimes
