Pressure Plate rattle......

I replaced the throw-out bearing, last summer but not the PP and
clutch disc. The noise is constant whether the clutch is engaged
or disengaged. I checked all the linkage and it is all tight.
I have a feeling that I need to replace everything, I crawled
under neath , while running and it seems to be coming from the
clutch. Should the throw-out bearing spin when it rides on the
pressure plate fingers, or spin only when the clutch is disengaged.
Before I adjusted the pedal the bearing was not spinning at all.
But I did'nt drive it very far . I can deal with the noise but
I sure would like to fix it, I can replace everything, and be
done with it, but the clutch works great and I hate to replace
parts if they don't need it.

The throw out bearing should only spin when it comes in contact with the pressure plate fingers ie. when you depress the clutch peddle.
