Passon Od Vs Keisler Tko

Tom Q

Take the name calling easy and stick to the facts if you please.

Getting others worked up and making a mess of threads is something we normally do not allow to go on unchecked and if need be, unpunished.

This strong arm tactic keeps this place running alot better than other boards and will so be kept that way.

This message pertains to everyone.

Thanks crew, back to the thread at hand.

Thanks, rumble. Like I said, completely beligerent. Didn't think I was hijacking the thread given what the very first post was. I've been following this thread as it's progressed with a lot of interest, simply because of the Cuda build. Was thinking along the lines of the Keisler package, but now from what I've read I've been doing some re-thinking along those lines. But when guys like those above come out of nowhere, start posting with what was posted, and along the lines of the original post, it gets a body to thinking, too.
Like I said, I've got no invested interest in either company. I haven't spent a dime to date with either one of 'em and given the idea that when it's time for a tranny for the Cuda someone will have come along with a better mouse trap, then that's where I'll turn.
So far to date I've dealt with Keisler on just one thing at the booth in Carlisle. I'm looking at possibility of laying my 413 in my Ramcharger while keeping the truck 4 speed. Shafi seemed personable and knowledgable, but asked me to talk to one of his salesmen since we was writing an estimate for another gentleman on one of the Tremec packages. The salesman told me the measurements they'd need so they could fit me with a bellhousing, and what I'd be looking at to upgrade the current hydraulic set up to one of theirs. And he quoted me a helluva lot less than Shafi did initially because he was willing to sell me the pieces needed that would work with what I already had, not the entire package. Let's just say I was treated better by Keisler's salesman than when I had just a few basic questions at the Indy booth.
