Does anyone know of a company that does 'vacuum deposition plating'? I removed the dash in my barracuda to redo the gauges and bulbs. Noticed that the dash is flaking and could use to be replated. I know laysons, cv plater, etc do it, but thats a bit expensive for me. I just need it plated I can mask, paint, and reassemble.

Thanks,
keith

I already got a qoute from them. Everyone is about 400 + shipping. It's just a piece of plastic that I need chrome plated, not gold plated. heck gold might be cheaper. Sorry i'm griping I've literally been on the phone with over 2 dozen places to no avail.

thanks

It's not vacum deposistion plating but it may be an alternative. They used this on the green brick's front bumber in the last Mopar Action. You really couldn't tell it was a fiberglass bumper. www.snschrome.com
