Aftermarket Stereos
don't know what your budget is on this ,but have you ever considered takeing the factory radio and converting it to stereo? it is kinda pricey (400.00 i think?), but you get the best of both worlds. the factory radio can be made into stereo with an , xm satallite connection, cd connection, tape connection and will direct connect to the factory harness. it will have all the modern digital innards with the same outside. push buttons even still work and no static (digital tuner). wattage is 180 watts, or 90 per channel. not a boom box but pretty decent. if not loud enough you can always amp it. i wouldn't cut the dash myself. just some food for thought....
