hi, the stock carb does not perform very well on a stocker or super stocker motor!! you can not rework throttle shafts, thin throttle blades, or polish in venturis, , fuel passages can be enlarged, rejetted, air bleeds reworked, they measure bores, and blades and shafts. a properly setup carb is usually worth
about 2-3 tenths. good luck.
