Rocker problem. HELP!!

Ok,heres what you ned to do a magnum head swap to a early block conversion. This set up needs a basic chevy oiling system to work.
You have to get AMC lifters to get the system to work. The AMC lifter has the hole in the plunger cup to allow oil to be pushed up through the push rod to oil the rockers. As you know, the magnum heads are indivinual rocker assemblies and need their separate oiling supply, which is done by each lifter. The old system filled a hollow shaft and filled the shaft and allowed common oiling to all rockers for a stock stamped rocker. This oiling came through a drill hole in the block and feed through a matching hole in the heads to a stud boss that held the shaft i place. In the magnum, its a seperate oiling supply to each rockers on its own.Now you need to do this, prime the engine with a 1/2 inch drill and the proper tool to adapted to the oil pump drive and see if while running the drill that oil is getting to some or all rockers. If not, just remove the rocker shafts on both sides and do it again, what push rods are suppling oil?The ones not suppling, remove the lifters and check for a hole in the plunger cup,or if they are collasped down, and replace the ones not working. You may have one not working or the wrong one,or more than that,Mrmopartech
