Seat Vinyl

I am recovering the seats in my Scamp.I am getting the inmates at the local prison to do it for the cost of material only..Does anyone know a good place to get just the material at a good price and good quality?? I checked a local fabric store but the quality didnt look up to par..And has anyone done anything unusual to their seats such as-two tone,2 differnet materials cloth/vinyl etc... Thanks....
