1965 Barracuda- Restomod
OK so it's Christmas time, I just got a new steering wheel, wood grain to match the pistol grip shifter.
Also for the new wheel, a Plymouth horn button.
Hood pins.
And new seats.
Now, down to the nitty gritty.
I finally made it down to cut the floor and install the shifter.
As you can see the new drivetrain is a little, crooked.
The U-joints are all greased up and ready to go.
Where I need to get cutting.
Chalked out the floor based off of the old hole and dead reckoning.
The floor. And the light that shocked me later. Note the taped hand grip.
The floors are cut with a nice amount of room to get the linkage all squared away.
I bolted the trans to the cross-member and now it sits straight.
Next up, get the linkage all set up and get the master cylinder leak fixed to I can safely move the car. Once that is fixed, I can get the paint prep started and the primer shot.
