I was told that when switching from auto to stick, your crank needs to be drilled a certain way for the a833 to work is this true if so does anyone have a pic of the difference???? I also heard since I have a 68 383. Its actually drilled both for auto and manual is this also true?? Thanks

hi the crank is drilled for both, except, the part for manual trans is not finish bored, if it was installed in an auomatic car. NAPA sells a bushing that fits the smaller hole. thats easier , than boring it out in a lathe. just food for thought

So you can buy the bushing, but still need to cut the shaft off about 5/8 or so?
