Don't think bad of me but I was put in jail first time in my life. I am 52

Been twice. Not a fun place. 8 hours when I was 18 for fighting with a neighbor while drunk, and 6 hours back 16 years ago for fighting with the ex. We were both violant back then, all I did was grab her arm, but it left a mark. She even protested the police saying she was at fault too, but I still went.:angry7: I was totally sober that time.

Jail free since 93. But I don't trust anyone, not even law enforcement. There human too.

Had an old supervisor, Noel, who was an ex-cop. His policy on domestic disturbances was to haul both parties in. His reason for this: once he got there it was nothing more than a he said she said. By taking in both at the same time, he said, it was amazing how many times the truth actually came out. In your case the truth was out before you were taken in, but he hated the idea that it was always the man's fault and therefore the man should get arrested. He said in his experience once both were in cuffs it usually turned out to be a 50/50 split. We need more cops who think like that.
