Don't think bad of me but I was put in jail first time in my life. I am 52

Had an old supervisor, Noel, who was an ex-cop. His policy on domestic disturbances was to haul both parties in. His reason for this: once he got there it was nothing more than a he said she said. By taking in both at the same time, he said, it was amazing how many times the truth actually came out. In your case the truth was out before you were taken in, but he hated the idea that it was always the man's fault and therefore the man should get arrested. He said in his experience once both were in cuffs it usually turned out to be a 50/50 split. We need more cops who think like that.
They have gotten even stricter now. My case was droped. But now it's the states decision and mandatory paperwork$$$$$$$$$. I am not saying what I did was right, far from it. Cooler head's prevail now, and Mary isn't a button pusher. :-D

The thing was she was flipping out over something I said about maybe having some clean clothes for work and she went all Carrie:snakeman: on me. I grab her arm to stop her and left marks, but she was a scrapper. By that time the neighbor had called the police. This whole incident took maybe 5 min. Then the cop put me in the back of the cruiser and it's turned off. It's AUGUST. I though is was going to have a heat stroke, I kid you not. After a couple minutes he gets in and starts the car. That was inhumane and I will never forget how I was treated by law enforcement when I was nothing but cooperative. :angry7:
