Pistons are .1092 @ tdc from top of bare deck.
I thought by buying the higher comp. flat tops would rase my comp.
Maybe static was just that much less before.
FYI This motor made incredible torque before w/ all stock components and a 2bbl.....was probably the .410/.412 cam 252/256
