:read2:I received my entire conversion kit today from Shumacher which includes their motor mounts, ceramic headers, and torque strap. I have read and understand all of the directions and have prepared everything except grinding some of the drivers side boss where the header would hit. Now to the point, the first sentence on the Tech Tips recommends using an oil pan from a 66-73 C body #187 or #699 because it has a indentation for the idler arm. Has anyone did this? Has anyone used another pan and dimpled it with a ballpeen hammer? I am asking for different options.
