TTI exhaust too loud

I had to remove the Dynomax Super Turbos from my Valiant (2.5" TTI H-pipe system) and replace them with Pypes M-80s.... (long story.)

They have provided me with the worst sounding exhaust system I have ever heard (machine-gun, stacatto, sound with no "body.")

I would gladly add some resonators behnd the rear axle to quiet this thing down, if I could. Doesn't look to me like there's enough room, particularly where the tailpipe runs beside the gas tank on the passenger side.

Has anyone ever istalled resonators on a system like this (TTI complete 2.5")????

Any advice would be appreciated. The M-80s HAVE to stay... "have to" case.:angry7:

Like Longgone said, if you add some glasspacks after the headers, they will act as resonators. There are also resonators you can buy and put in the same location, but they are really just the same thing as glasspacks, but cost more. I have another car (of which, I will not name the make of) that was too loud, and had an obnoxious tone to it. I put a resonator just aft of the CAT, and it not only quieted it down, but also gave it a deeper, throatier tone (sounded like a coffee can full of pissed off bees before). The longer resonator or glasspack you use, the more it will muffle it.
