I have a friend who has this fan among his other parts. It has seven aluminum blades and is in very nice shape. He was told that it is for a 1968 SS car. I'd like to know first off if it is for that application and some idea of it's rarity and approximate value. Any help is appreciated!

I have one like that ,I bought it out of the Mopar Circle track parts bookin the early 70's. But if I remember correctly there was one a guy had on ebay for 325 plus . So they must be hard to get. I have the steel version too.

I can't say what they are worth but I had one that came stock on a 69 Satelite with AC and a fan clutch

Part number 2863213 would be stamped on one of the blades , for 383/340- 68/69 used in all body/engine combinations
part number 2863215 for 340/426 -69 . these parts are also used on C-B-A bodies, with different engine and cooling options so they are not rare. Looked this information up in my 68 and 69 parts books. . The difference is in the pitch of the blades 1.5"- 2863213 or 2.25"- 2863215
There is a 7 blade number 2863224 in 69 listed for all bodies and engine combinations ,nothing listing a special one for SS application. Hope this helps.

Sorry about the slow repost (I was in my Chevy Mod. LOL Yes the blades I have both versions. if I get a chance I will post a picture and we can compair .
