Drag slick dilation?

I have seen folks use 29 or 30" diameter drag slicks on a stock eliminator duster with basically stock fenderwells with no issue. I do not think those size slicks grow much by the time you hit top speed. A top fuel dragster will hit 200 mph well before the 600 ' mark. A car running 110 mph in the 1/4 mile will not experience anywhere near the tire diameter change a faster car will.

Also the amount the TF dragster tires grow is much greater because they are designed to grow like that to increase the MPH and use the 8000 hp the engine is making. Tires designed to be used on slower doorslammer cars are not designed to do this since these slower cars do not have the power to utilize this feature.

What sort of car are using them on??
