Have some blow-by pushing oil out the end of my dipstick tube. Does someone know a good replacement with a sealed o ring type end so I stops spraying oil all over my engine?

Jeff

Yeah I am running a PCV and have a brand new valve. Either way the dipstick is loose in the hole and I would rather have something of a newer origin. With a sealed o ring.

i know what you mean. i had that on my first car (k-car) i just put duct tape over it. but on a good running engine you dont really need the dipstick in there to keep oil in so instead of puttin a bandaid on it i would at least see where the problem is

Also may want to check the PCV valve and the breather cap on your valve cover.I think Mancini Racing has the dip sticks.

Yeah I know what you mean. Blow by like a mutha. Trying to get something to clean it up a little before I finishing building the new motor for it. Thanks for the help.

Jeff

I've seen race cars where they've run a spring through the loop of the dip stick, and had either end hooked to points bit lower to stop it blowing out in the heat of compettion.

I put a sparkplug boot on one I had once. Kept it from blowing all over the engine bay until I could pull it and fix the problem.
