Been awhile since I've been on the site ,vocally anyway,reason being my move to New Hampshire from Wyoming and selling all my cars. But I just bought a 66 Dart convertible and can't wait to start on it.. I'm having a terrible time finding 66 parts... I need floorboards to start with they are bad so thats my first project.. Anyone know where I can get a set.. ???? Shes a slant 6 /auto car.. And have been told I might find a kit to stiffen it up to put a small block in it.Anybody know of that??? I'm just thinking 340/360. Any way heres a couple quick pictures I took tonight.

Cool vert!Also Welcome back!The kit you talk about might be the 340/360 Shumacher motor mounts?Which I bought when I did the 360 swap,here,s a list of some items you,ll need for the swap...

V8 904 tranny
A shorter driveshaft
8 1/4 or 8 3/4 rear
TTi or Dougs headers(not gonna mention trying to get the Spitfires?)
90% oil filter adapter
For throttle I used a 72 Duster peddle and cable,kickdown is Lokar
some frame connectors
you might aswell go disc brake up front to stop the beast!

I,m sure I,m forgetting something?

V8 center link will also be needed. I think I had to put a small dent in one of the corners of my oil pan to clear the steering.

I like the floor pan i got from autobody specialties. Nice fit. If u feel like trying to save $ you can always just weld down some sheet metal. I think the rear pans have not been reproduced just yet and companies will substitute a later year pan that needs to be trimmed to fit.

Yea buddy... I pulled her in the garage tonight to get her use to it.. Tomorrow i start.. Floor first. and familiarize myself with her.. anxious!!!

Hey, I saw that car on craigs list, looks like it went to a good home. I remember seeing it at a few car shows years ago. Good luck with the project!
 
Frame connectors,if your into welding you can buy some 2x3 metal tubing and make your own.You can also purchase through Summit,Mancini Racing,Mopar Performance.I made my own out of 1x3 tubing(cost was $22)and installed myself by welding in.Here,s a pic of mine..

I'm in dire need of a total floor pan . I see on Ebay theres a company has them for 67-74 would they fit up or lots of refitting to do....???
