Anyone use an engine lift plate anymore on aluminum intakes?

Interesting subject.....I've NEVER used a lifting plate, and have even mentioned to my friends that they creep me out in an amazing way.....and with a trans installed? Sheeeeeet, never. Maybe I'm freaking out, but those are 5/16" bolts that I've seen on the carb flange. If that sucker failed, I'd go into meltdown.....yeah it's the diagonal head-to-head crank thingy for me.

Maybe if I read the actual weight limitations from the company that made them, it would make me feel more at ease and I might try one.
