What defines "rock and roll?" Seems to me everything these days is sort of an offshoot. Country these days is an example of what rock was twenty or thirty years ago. You have country musicians bouncing back and forth, and Darius Rucker can blend right into country music. Rap is always sampling rock for it's backgrounds.
Casting Crowns has a few songs in the Nickleback or 3 Doors Down sound. Third Day has a southern rock sound. With the blend of heavy metal/rap/ and pop there can be no doubt as to DC Talk.
