Is there a way to check to see if the damper is closed or open if the manifold is still on the engine? I have a 66 Dart with a 273 in it. It seems that it should run alot stronger than it does. It has a 4 barrel carb, electronic ignition, mild cam, and dual exhaust but doesn't perform how you would think it should. Maybe it is just the weak 7.25 rearend and its highway gears.
