I ended up moving the master cylinder and pedal assembly up. Used the original upper master cylinder bolt holes in the firewall as the new lower bolt holes. Moved the assembly up the same amount. Just had to flatten part of the sheet metal lip on the padal bracket, where it bolted to the steering bracket. I now have a couple of inches clearance between the headers and the dual master cylinder. Even the brake lines had enough extra so nothing had to be redone. Very easy job.
