Depends on the condition, price, and what you want. If you like 73 Chargers and the condition and price is right I'd say go for it. Just make sure an pick it over with a fine tooth comb since you don't have a lot of money. Without much money the last thing you want to get is something that's worn out and will break down a bunch. As far as the 318 goes, if your looking for a driver a 318 is a great engine. Just not very fast in a heavy Charger unless it's reworked a bunch. There's always the possibility of swapping in a big block later if you want some serious power.
