Soo ont. Many street races down Queen and Bay. Three great places to race without endangering others was the industrial park right behind the cop shop, abondoned Northern Race Ways and way out Wallace Terrace beyond the steel plant dumping grounds. I never lost a race in my 70 340 duster with 3.55 gears and never hurt anybody (thank God). Late one night on Bay a guy with a yellow Camaro with 4.88 gears and slicks shows up driving from Wawa (100 miles north) That must have been a long ride!. He lines up and pulls the front wheels on untreated pavement. I turned on my blinker on that one.
Old days, young and dumb, but man....I lived through it all and wouldn't trade it for anything!
