the one fly in the ointment of your statement, Small Block is that I know, Toyotas, for one, use more North American made parts(greater that 75%) than half of the so called domestic vehicles. They are assembled/built by Americans, in American cities, on American ground. Sure, if they were built in Japan, and shipped here, not built here, I'd look @ them quite differently, but as the Big 3 got too big for their britches, and have suffered for doing so, American made cars are on the market with foreign names, so to speak.

There are still cars from foreign companies I won't go near(Hyundai, Kia).
