Tincup's 63 Dart w/5.7 Hemi

Just a few questions if you don't mind... I have a 66 dart and I plan to be doing quite a few of the same things you are doing.

1. It appears that you had to clearance the alterkations rail for the alternator? Was it required, or just for some extra clearance? So you could remove the alternator without lifting the engine?

2. Those seats are awesome, exactly what I've been looking for. I wanted to do the 3-point conversion and that makes everything so much easier. On the back seat, can I get some general measurements? Does it look like a miracle drop-in? That would be really great news.

3. I know being an early a guy planning this hemi transplant that manual brakes are the only option. I was originally planning on hydroboost and I did everything I possibly could to adapt it to work, but no luck. So manual it is.. I know you are running 4 wheel discs with 4 piston calipers, what master cylinder and bore size did you go with?

Thanks ahead of time! I've been following your build closely and it's progressing smoothly and looks very promising.

Ryan, Thanks for the comments, and any questions you may have, don't hesitate to ask.
You are correct, I did clearance the AlterK just so I could get at the alt bolts.
As for the rear seats I have not tried them in yet ( The car is filthy with sanding dust and the seats are black) but they do measure the same 52" wide. I'm hoping all that will be necessary will be to fab up some kind of mounts, but I will get back to you on that.
As for the master I chose the Mopar replacement one (made by Wilwood) which has a 1 1/16" bore. The fancy Wilwood has a 1" bore, but is twice the price. I read somewhere that Wilwood makes a master with a 7/8" bore which would be nice, but I have'nt found it yet.
